Parwal ki Mithai



Ingredients   
250 grams  Parwals   
1 cup         Mawa (khoya)    
1 1/2 cups  Sugar    
1/4 tsp       Green cardamom powder    
10             Almonds,chopped    
10       Pistachios,chopped        
a pinch of salt    
 Few strands    Saffron (kesar)    

Method:
1. Remove the hard peels of parwals and half cut them in the middle. Carefully, remove all the seeds using a small spoon or butter knife.
2. Take khoya in a pan and heat it, before it starts melting remove khoya from heat and  add 1/4 cup of sugar, almonds and pistachio and cardamom pwd and mix properly.
3. Stuffing is ready, allow it to cool.
4. Take 2 cups of water and make it boil. Add salt into it. Now boil parwals for 3-4 minutes.
5  Now in a pan take 1 cup of sugar and add 1/2 cup of water and boil it. Now add the boiled parwals into the sugar syrup. Cook it for next 2 min at a low flame. Turn off the stove and cover it for 10 min.
6.  After 10 minutes, carefully remove parwals from the syrup and let it cool.
7. Now, fill the khoya stuffing inside the parwal and garnish with saffron.
8. You can preserve this for a week in a refrigerator.
